Because Because

1.
Because I am both the head
and the hand holding the head
 by the hair

 (the formaldehyded head
 of what and where)

I’ve cut myself a wig and I will sit

as if I had a porch
as if I had a rocking chair.

 2.
Our sex gave way to more sex
 then less, as if

 every question
 were an answer
 asking yes.

And every mile is a mill.
 Every mile is a million.
Every hill is a hell: one bell
 is a billion.

 The whisker of did

 was once what does.
 Belief and grief
 become because.
